Move in Day!

 

Our container arrived in Durban last week and today it was on its way to the little town Harties situated about 1 hours outside of Johannesburg. 

We have been "on the road" so long that is is almost hard to believe that tomorrow is the day that we get to start putting down new roots and making a home here on South African soil. 

On the reality side of things, our lives are pretty crazy right now.  Phil is fighting a bad case of bronchitis, probably because he is pretty warn down from all the traveling, and logistics of closing off  and setting up  a home in a foreign country, and I have been quite occupied with my role as Africa Regional Director making decisions for our members in Ethiopia and the impact the crisis in the country has on them. Your prayers for wisdom for me and our team and for healing for Phil are appreciated.

It is now time to get a little bit of some sleep so that we can meet up bright and early with the team ready to help us unload the big container that is arriving bright and early tomorrow morning....the sun actually rises before 5am here. Crazy early!! 

If we are honest we are somewhat tired after almost 2 years of living out of suitcases, but are feeling so blessed, thankful and very excited about the new chapter the Lord has for us here.
