Off to Mozambique!
Hi all, It has been a long time since you last heard from me this via this blog. For those of you who get our newsletter hopefully you saw some of our fun Christmas picture of when our kids got to visit us here in Harties, SA over Christmas. It was wonderful giving them a glimpse into our new lives here.Being away from them is definitely the hardest part of being here. For the next couple of months we will entering a time of travel. Tomorrow we ( Phi,l , Tana and me) are driving with our "Faithful Toyota Fortuner" to Mozambique. It will be about an 7-8 hour drive from our home here to Maputo. the boarder crossing is what we are most apprehensive about, given that none of us speak Portuguese, the business language of Mozambique and there are still some unknown factors of visas, covid requirements and just plain "Africa unknowns" and you might imagine what those could all be.
